This sweet little girl got baptized yesterday in La Follette, Tennessee. It's about 30 minutes north of Knoxville and the Sunday morning drive was absolutely breath taking, I just had to share a picture of it.
The baptism took place at La Follette United Methodist Church. It reminded me a lot of the kind of Church that I grew up in. It was so quaint and homey and all of the people were so sweet.
Before heading into the church we got a couple pictures of Reighlen and her adorable big brother, Rylen.
Reighlen loved to be held and loved on by her sweet momma, Judy.
She wanted to be held at all times.
Her adorable big brother, he just loved to smile.
The Church was beautiful on the inside.
I just loved this stained glass window.
Some sweet family pictures.
The Baptism Ceremony
What a proud momma!
Two proud parents!

Mr. and Mrs. Collins
Well ACM Photography made it through the first wedding. I survived and have been sorting through the 1800 pictures that I have over the past two days. I wanted to share a couple of the images of Emily and Josh... the light after the ceremony was breath-taking.
One of my favorites because Josh is actually smiling. You would hold up the camera and his face would immediately turn serious.
Hope you enjoy and there are more pictures to come!

Emily and Josh are getting married... TOMORROW!!
Well tomorrow is such a big day for me. I shoot my first wedding!! I took some engagement pictures a couple months ago of a sweet, sweet girl that I work with an her fiancé, Josh. She absolutely loved the pictures and over several weeks convinced me to be the photographer for her wedding. I have assisted for several wedding with my dear friend, Tracie Ancelet who has her own photography company, Ancelet Photography, and is absolutely amazing. I follow her on shoots as well sometimes and she is absolutely amazing and as taught me so much.
So I guess it's time to pull it all together. In the world of nursing we say- See one, do one, teach one. Well I've seen several weddings from the perspective of a photographer thanks to Tracie so I guess it's time to do one.
I'm a little nervous, very excited, and am praying that all goes perfectly as planned. I have spent several hours prepping and looking at wedding photography and creating a checklist for all of the shots to get. So tomorrow after lunch I head out to Day Lilly Farms in Corryton for an exciting day filled with hundreds of pictures!
I wanted to share some of the pictures from Emily's engagement shoot...
It was absolutely so much fun to watch the two of them get up in this tree. It was about 5 feet up in the air.
So Josh doesn't smile very often and I only captured his smile in this picture because I told him to "imagine that he just caught a deer." They both laughed at me for a little while and then informed me that you don't catch a deer, you shoot it... clearly I don't spend too much time in the country.
My absolute favorite picture from the shoot.... a little something Tracie Ancelet taught me.
